The FEP Matrix
The FEP Matrix is a graphical representation of how FEPs act within, and interact between, the Components of the disposal system.
The Components constitutes the diagonal elements of the FEP matrix and the FEPs occur on the diagonal elements (when they act within a component) and in off-diagonal elements (when they interact bwtween Copmontent). The matrix is read in a clockwise sense so that FEPs by which the component in the diagonal element 1,1 affects a component located in element 2,2 are located in the off-diagonal element 1,2.
